Ryan Frazier Truth Test Time to Tell the Truth on Takara

Republican CD 7 Candidate Ryan Frazier has a problem with the truth. Either he doesn’t know it, or he is choosing to greatly exaggerate it and hope no one notices. In a year when candidates’ work histories are unraveling by the minute, Ryan Frazier needs to know you just can’t say anything in an attempt to get elected. Residents of the 7th CD deserve to know the truth about Frazier’s company and his involvement in it. The truth matters and it’s time Ryan Frazier comes clean. Outsourcing is going to be one of the defining issues of the 2010 campaign for the 7th Congressional District.
Here’s a look at some of the most recent claims and exaggerations by Ryan Frazier, Senior Partner with Takara Systems:

Says one thing:
Frazier claims he wants to create jobs in Colorado.

Truth:
Frazier’s own business, Takara Systems helps other companies outsource jobs to foreign countries (http://www.takarasystems.com/outsourcing.html)

Says one thing:
Frazier claims that Takara Systems is a start-up small business

Truth:
Takara Systems has been around for a decade (since 2000), hardly a start-up, and Frazier himself has been a Senior Partner with Takara Systems since 2005.

Says one thing:
Frazier says Takara Systems is a successful small business he has helped grow and prosper.

Truth:
Takara Systems, doesn’t reference any current or former clients on its web site and it’s not clear if they have any current clients or if they’ve ever had any clients.

Says one thing:
Takara touts offices in Colorado, Africa and Asia (http://www.takarasystems.com/index.html).

Truth:
Takara doesn’t have a physical office in Colorado (only a P.O. Box is referenced at http://www.takarasystems.com/contact.html) and the local phone was disconnected until last week. Takara does not provide any contact numbers or addresses for their offices in Africa and Asia, and it has not been confirmed whether these offices actually exist or whether they are staffed by any Takara employees.

Says one thing:
Ryan Frazier says he is one of four Senior Partners and has been working at Takara Systems since 2005 and has up to a $250,000 interest in Takara.

Reality:
Frazier receives no income from Takara. In fact, Ryan Frazier has not worked or had an income of more than approximately $1,000 per month from the City of Aurora since 2009, raising the question of where exactly is Ryan Frazier receiving his income.

Says one thing:
Frazier says that because of his role at Takara Systems as a Senior Partner, that he’s a “successful” small businessman.

Truth:
Takara Systems is a web based consulting firm and it has yet to be established how much “work” Ryan Frazier actually does at Takara Systems as a Senior Partner.

Says one thing:
Ryan Frazier states that Takara Systems is a successful small business.

Reality:
Ryan Frazier’s Takara Systems is rated by Experian as a “HIGH RISK” credit.

Says one thing:
Ryan Frazier claims Takara hasn’t outsourced any American jobs.

Reality:
Takara Systems is in the business of outsourcing American jobs and has a dedicated web page specifically titled “Outsourcing” http://www.takarasystems.com/outsourcing.html.

“Integrity and truth matter. The hardworking residents of the 7th Congressional District deserve more than just slick soundbites, vague promises and untruthful claims about experience and success,” said Perlmutter spokeswoman Leslie Oliver. “With a work history like this, it’s no wonder Bob Beauprez said Frazier “ought to be fired, not promoted.” Ryan Frazier must come clean on Takara Systems and answer the serious questions that have been raised about his role as Senior Partner and the actual “success” of the company.

Residents of the 7th CD know Ed Perlmutter is someone they can trust to roll up his sleeves, and show up to work every day and fight for the issues important to 7th Congressional District.”

Whether it’s helping a small barbeque business like Big Papa’s get access to the operating line of credit they needed to hire 40 new workers, saving more than 4,000 private sector jobs at Lockheed Martin, or pushing the Administration to finally start construction on the new medical center for our Veterans after 10 years of delay, residents in the 7th know Ed has their back and will go to work for them.
