Golden, CO – Today, The Alliance for Retired Americans, representing more than 30,000 members in Colorado, endorsed Ed Perlmutter to represent the 7th Congressional District in Congress.“We made a commitment to our senior citizens that we would protect their retirement and pensions, and we have to honor that. We can’t privatize social security, and we have to fix our broken healthcare system so it is more affordable and accessible for older Americans,” said Perlmutter. “I’m proud of the work I’ve done on behalf of seniors – especially in pushing forward to build the new VA Medical Center in Aurora. Once completed, this facility will serve veterans from Montana to New Mexico and fulfill a promise we made to take care of these brave men and women who fought for our freedoms.”
