Another Day, Another Million Dollar Lie from Michael Bennet

“Coloradans haven’t heard a whopper this big since Richard Heene said his son was in the balloon”

DENVER—Appointed Sen. Michael Bennet is at it again—Bennet’s latest lie to Colorado is that his Republican challenger Ken Buck wants to raise taxes.
“Coloradans haven’t heard a whopper this big since Richard Heene said his son was in the balloon,” said Buck campaign manager John Swartout. “Is Michael Bennet running for U.S. Senate, or auditioning for a reality TV show?”

As in most of Bennet’s spots, Bennet edits video and takes Buck’s comments completely out of context.

“The people of Colorado can’t trust Michael Bennet. He’s a lied to them about creating jobs, lowering the cost of health care, cutting taxes, and can’t even tell the truth in his campaign spots,” said Swartout. “Unfortunately for the appointed Senator, Coloradans aren’t stupid. No one believes that Ken Buck wants to raise taxes.”

Media outlets are already calling out Michael Bennet for lying in his latest spot. Visit http://www.nationalreview.com/battle10/state/Colo, for a fact check and the videos that Bennet is taking out of context. Including the fact that Ken Buck is not calling to raise taxes, but saying that we need to “reduce government spending.”
