When Crystal Elliott, Commerce City At-Large Council Candidate heard that fellow office mate, Lynn Baca, was running for neighboring Brighton City Council, it became an undeniable second commonality that brought the two neighboring community candidates even closer.
The office-at-issue is the City Aurora. It’s where Lynn Baca and Crystal Elliot both are both currently employed and from where both sought formal approval to campaign for council in cities outside of Aurora.

Since their campaigns started, Lynn and Crystal envision a few potential positives of being on neighboring councils including their positive track record of working together. Their joint passion for their respective communities seems very promising toward also carrying over into enhanced community relations between Brighton and Commerce City.
