If you have moved into the State of Colorado or into a new county within the State, or if you have changed your address, you should register or re-register to vote. Your new address is not automatically tracked or changed for voter registration purposes when you move.
If you have changed your name, through marriage, divorce or a legal name change, you need to update your voter registration records with the County Clerk where you reside.
QUALIFICATIONS: To register to vote you must be a citizen of the United States by birth or naturalization. You must be eighteen years of age or older on the date of the next election. You must have resided in the state and the precinct 30 days immediately prior to the election at which you intend to vote. TO REGISTER or CHANGE YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION: You may download the application form below. Complete the application including all the required information and check the appropriate box (i.e. new registration, party affiliation change, address change, etc.) indicating type of registration being processed. Remember you must be registered to vote at least twenty-nine days before any election at which you intend to vote. Mail or bring the completed form to our Election Department at 1865 W 121st Avenue, Suite 600, Westminster, CO 80234. You may also, drop the form by any one or our Adams County Motor Vehicle offices.
