Perlmutter: We Need Jobs Mr. Speaker. Where are the jobs?

Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) released the following statement calling on the House GOP to end their 191-day boycott of no jobs plan for our country:

"There's a fundamental difference between me and my Republican colleagues -- I believe we have a revenue problem in this country -- it's called jobs. People want them, people need them, and that's what they want their elected representatives to focus on.

Yet, for 191 days, the House GOP refuses to put forward any jobs package which is what is most needed to help our economy and put people back to work. Instead they are playing political games at the expense of the security and stability of our country. I voted for many spending cuts, and there are more to be had. But the best way to stabilize and grow our economy is to put people back to work."
