First Latina Governor in American History

DENVER – New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, the first Latina governor to be elected in American history, will be the keynote speaker at the fourth annual Colorado Republican Centennial Dinner on Friday, March 25 at the Denver Marriott South.

“The election of Governor Susana Martinez this past year was truly historic and we are honored this dynamic new Republican governor will address Colorado Republicans,” said state chairman Dick Wadhams.

Governor Martinez was the Doña Ana County District Attorney for fourteen years before being elected governor in 2010.

The Centennial Dinner precedes the Colorado Republican State Central Committee meeting the following day, Saturday, March 26, at 9:00 AM at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock where new state officers will be elected.
