Rasmussen Poll Shows Tancredo in Dead Heat with Hickenlooper

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO—Conservative independent Tom Tancredo is within four points of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper in the Colorado Governor’s race, according to a Rasmussen poll released today with a +/- 4 percentage point margin of error. Hickenlooper’s support has now dropped to 42 percent, while Tancredo has surged to 38 points. Support for Dan Maes, the scandal-plagued GOP nominee, is hovering just above single digits.
“John Hickenlooper is out of touch with the challenges faced by families and businesses in the state, and Coloradans know it,” said Bay Buchanan, Tancredo’s campaign manager. “This poll makes it clear: Coloradans want a Governor who will shake up government and put an end to the failed tax-and-spend policies of the last four years. Tom Tancredo is that man.”

“Tom Tancredo will be Colorado’s next Governor,” Buchanan added.
