Small Business Endorses Ryan Frazier for Congress

Key voting bloc sees Frazier as ally

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 23, 2010 — Today the National Federation of Independent Business, America’s leading small business association, announced its full support and endorsement of Ryan Frazier for election to the U.S. House of Representatives from Colorado’s 7th District. The announcement was made at a campaign event at NFIB-member business Quoin Industrial Inc.

“His record as a member of the Aurora City Council is proof of Ryan Frazier’s dedication to promoting and protecting the interests of small business,” said Lisa Goeas, NFIB’s vice president for political operations. “Our members know that Ryan Frazier is a small business ally.”

“Ryan Frazier believes that overreaching and burdensome mandates and regulations on businesses must be decreased in order to foster a positive business environment,” Goeas continued. “Our small business membership agrees. We are glad to see that Ryan Frazier is determined to join the effort to restore common sense to fiscal policy and help enact laws that will reduce the oppressive tax and paperwork burden on Main Street businesses.”

There are more than 125,000 small employers in Colorado . Nationally, small businesses create more than half of the nation’s non-farm gross domestic product and have created more than 60 percent of net new jobs in the U.S. over the past 15 years.

Today’s endorsement comes from NFIB’s Save America’s Free Enterprise Trust, the association’s political action committee, and is based on candidates’ positions on key small business issues including healthcare, taxes, labor and regulatory issues.
