Perlmutter’s Job-Killing Votes Hurt Colorado’s Recovery

CO unemployment has doubled under Ed’s reign in Congress

Wheat Ridge, CO – Colorado’s economic recovery is lagging behind the rest of the nation, according to a new media report. The news comes as Colorado’s unemployment rate remains stagnant due to Washington’s refusal to jumpstart the national economy with their job-killing legislation.

“Colorado’s economy continues to suffer under the leadership of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and her rubberstamp Ed Perlmutter,” Ryan Frazier, candidate for the 7th Congressional District, said. “Colorado’s unemployment rate has doubled since Ed took office.”

Incumbent Democrat Rep. Ed Perlmutter has supported every major piece of legislation Speaker Pelosi has brought to the House floor. His votes in favor of card check, the bank and auto bailouts, the stimulus, cap-and-trade, and nationalized healthcare, have left Colorado’s economy in ruins and tripled America’s budget deficit in two short years.

“Coloradans desperately need jobs,” Frazier concluded. “It’s time to send a new voice, with commonsense solutions, to Washington.”
