Will Michael Bennet Denounce Harry Reid’s Racist Rhetoric Against Hispanic Americans?

WASHINGTON – Appointed U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) has eagerly helped U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) ram the Washington Democrats’ out-of-control spending agenda through Congress, driving our national debt past $13 trillion while failing to create much-needed. But thus far, Bennet has failed to denounce Reid’s recent racist statements questioning how “anyone with Hispanic heritage could be a Republican.”
“Michael Bennet needs to explain immediately: Does he agree with Harry Reid’s racist rhetoric against Hispanic Americans, or will he fully denounce this inappropriate and condescending commentary? This election is about issues, and there’s no place in this debate for intolerant, racist rhetoric from Harry Reid. Senator Bennet either agrees with Reid’s prejudiced comments, or he does not, but he can’t have it both ways,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Press Secretary Amber Marchand.

Notably, Bennet has been the beneficiary of a Canadian trial lawyer fundraiser spearheaded by the embattled Majority Leader, and he has accepted at least $10,000 in campaign cash from Reid’s Political Action Committee (PAC).
