Attorney General candidate Stan Garnett today announced that the second debate in his campaign to unseat incumbent Attorney General John Suthers has been confirmed, and is scheduled for Tuesday Aug. 3, on AM 760, Colorado’s Progressive Talk radio.
The debate is set to run from 8 to 9 a.m., and is to be moderated by host David Sirota. This will mark the first time Stan Garnett, the Democratic candidate for Attorney General, has squared off with his opponent since the two debated at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law on June 2nd.
“I’m delighted the debate has been finalized, and I’m looking forward to the next chance to engage my opponent and show voters the clear choice they will have on the important issues in this race,” said Garnett. “Every time we do this, it’s the voters who benefit, and I hope this is just one more in what should be a series of events in which people will be able to compare our messages and see who is best equipped to be an Attorney General who will truly serve the people’s interests.”
