“Every year, Coloradans shell out $251 million dollars in taxpayer handouts to Big Oil. There are no excuses for continuing oil industry welfare when Coloradans are making real sacrifices because of budget deficits.
“Colorado has the strongest oil and gas industry in the West, and they don’t need taxpayer handouts to stand on their own two feet.”
