Ward 2 Thornton Rep. Eva Henry Recieves Public Service Award

Eva Henry, who represents Ward 2 on the Thornton City council, has been awarded the Public Service Award by Access Housing. The award was presented to Councilmember Henry at the Family Futures Awards Gala on September 29, 2011.

The purpose of the award is to recognize elected officials that have demonstrated a commitment to the work of non-profit organizations in Colorado. Councilmember Henry has shown untiring dedication and steadfast leadership in caring for families and communities in need.

Councilmember Henry will be joining other past recipients such as Governor John Hickenlooper, who was the recipient of the Access Housing Public Service Award in 2010.
