Lakewood, CO –U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, in cooperation with Safeway, will host his first Government in the Grocery of 2011 on Sat., Feb. 26 at the Safeway on Colfax and Garrison St. in Lakewood, CO. This will be the first Government in the Grocery hosted by Perlmutter, and the first in the country at Safeway since the tragic shootings last month in Tucson , AZ.
Since taking office in 2007, Perlmutter has hosted more than 70 grocery store one-on-one meetings with constituents at grocery stores around the district.
