Commerce City Council Members Seek Community Input

Priorities for 2011 – 2013 will be set during upcoming annual retreat

COMMERCE CITY – The City Council of Commerce City is seeking community input on priorities for the coming year in advance of an annual planning retreat. Last year’s retreat identified a list of 114 priorities for staff to address, based on constituent input. To date, more than 103 – or 90 percent – are in progress or have been completed.

“ Commerce City ’s vision of Quality Community for a Lifetime” is not just words on a page,” said Mayor Paul Natale. “The city strives to provide services and amenities that create a safe, friendly, healthy, collaborative and well-rounded community.” Councilor Jason McEldowney added, “The annual retreat helps us discuss our goals to achieve this vision.”

Members of the public can provide input in several ways before Feb. 18, 2011:

· Contact council directly at councilpriorities2011@c3gov.com.
