Perlmutter Campaign Endorsed by Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States PAC

“Ed Perlmutter is our hero, and all the guys feel that way,” --Jim Blane (Aurora), one of 11 World War II veterans Ed helped return to Iwo Jima.

Golden, CO— Ed Perlmutter’s tireless work for our nation’s veterans was recognized today by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) Political Action Committee. Today the VFW endorsed Ed Perlmutter’s campaign for Congress in the 7th Congressional District. Perlmutter has a long and consistent record demonstrating strong support for Veterans, national security and defense, and military personnel issues.
“I’m honored to be endorsed by the VFW,” said Perlmutter. “Our veterans bravely fought for us, and we must stand up for them and provide the best care, benefits and honor they earned and deserve. One of my greatest achievements in Congress was helping 11 World War II veterans from Colorado return to Iwo Jima for the 65th Anniversary ceremony of that historic battle. These brave veterans, and indeed all of our current and former service members, remind us of the courage, determination and resilience of our country and that we can never accept failure as an option. I look forward to continuing my work for them in Congress to ensure completion of the new VA Medical Center in Aurora, that they have good jobs to return to and being their voice on the important issues our country faces.”

The VFW PAC provides the 2.1 million members of the VFW, its auxiliaries and their families with an opportunity to collectively support candidates for federal office who support our nation’s Veterans and America’s security.
