Adams County Commissioner Exaggerates Educational Record

(Thornton, Colo.) In response to the blog, www.tonysrants.com, Erik Hansen calls on his opponent for Adams County Commissioner, Larry Pace, to come clean about his educational record.

Official campaign and county websites as well as news reports show Adams County Commissioner Larry Pace has a degree in administration from Western State. However, according to officials at the university, Pace has a master's degree in education. The issue leaves Pace's opponent scratching his head.

"The voters in Adams County deserve better," Erik Hansen, the challenger candidate for Adams County Commissioner, said. "Voters need to trust their elected officials and if Pace is exaggerating his educational credentials, then what else is he not telling us?"

Ironically, Pace is quoted in the Brighton Blade as having "a resume I'm proud of that you cannot believe."

Erik Hansen is currently the Mayor of Thornton, CO. His makes his home in Adams County with his wife and two children. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in political science from Truman State University.
