Frazier Disappointed with Failed ‘Summer Recovery’ as Unemployment Increases

Asks Perlmutter, “Where are the jobs?”

Wheat Ridge, CO – Ryan Frazier, candidate for the 7th Congressional District, today expressed disappointment with the failed ‘summer of recovery’ as new unemployment numbers increased for the third straight month. The national unemployment rate went up to 9.6% as the U.S. economy shed close to 300,000 jobs over the summer.

“Where are the jobs, Ed?” Frazier asked. “The ‘summer of recovery’ touted by the White House, and Ed Perlmutter, clearly didn’t work.”

President Barack Obama today said, “We are moving in the right direction,” and called the new unemployment statistics “positive.”

“If these numbers are considered positive by the President, I don’t want to see what negative looks like,” Frazier concluded. “Washington needs real leadership that will get our fiscal house in order and put Americans back to work.”
