Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation invite local businesses to Chamber Luncheon to learn more about Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61

August 12, 2010-Brighton, CO---The Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce and Brighton Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) would like to invite local businesses and interested community members to an informational luncheon on Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Heritage Todd Creek from 11:30 am-1 pm. The luncheon is no cost for Chamber and BEDC members and $15 for anyone else who is interested in attending.
Featured speaker Matthew Gray, an attorney with Sherman & Howard, will give guests a substantial overview on Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61. Mr. Gray will also dive in to what the local impacts are for each of these proposed changes to legislation. Many local organizations will be present to share their resolutions and answer questions.

“It is crucial that people educate themselves on Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61,” said Raymond Gonzales, President and CEO of Brighton Economic Development Corporation. “These proposed ballot measures mean big changes for Brighton and surrounding areas and we hope that people join us for this luncheon so they can make an informed decision.”
