Colorado Nurses Association (CNA) endorsed Andrew Romanoff

The American Nurses Association (ANA), in concert with its constituent organization, the Colorado Nurses Association (CNA), has enthusiastically endorsed Andrew Romanoff for U.S. Senate.
"Andrew Romanoff has demonstrated that he is an adept political leader, able to work effectively across party lines on a broad variety of issues," said CNA Executive Director Fran Ricker. "His political and leadership experience is a matter of record. This candidate has demonstrated personal and political courage throughout his career. Members describe him as accessible, solid, authentic, committed, and consistent in support of nursing and health care issues."

ANA represents the interests of 3.1 million registered nurses.

Said Romanoff: "The health care debate in this country is not over. The fight for effective, affordable, compassionate care will continue to be led by the nation's 3 million nurses on the front lines. I am grateful for their support."

In addition to ANA/CNA, labor support for Andrew Romanoff includes: Colorado Council of Teamsters, UFCW Local 7, the Boilermakers Lodge 101, the Laborers International Local 578, Amalgamated Transit Union Locals 1563 and 1001 and West Metro Firefighters Local 1309.
