50-41%: Buck Holds Commanding Lead over Norton

50-41%: Buck Holds Commanding Lead over Norton

Denver, CO—With only ten days until the Aug. 10 primary, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Buck holds a nine point lead over his primary opponent.

According to the Denver Post/9 News survey of 588 likely Republican voters, Buck leads Jane Norton 50 percent to 41 percent with a 4.1 percent margin of error.

“These numbers are very encouraging,” said Buck. “Coloradans are ready to bring Washington’s spending under control, to create jobs and secure our borders.”

“Ken’s positive, grassroots message is resonating,” said Walt Klein, Buck’s campaign consultant. “The Denver Post/9News poll shows that Ken is the only statewide candidate to be at 50 percent in the primary matchups.”

The Denver Post/9News poll is just the latest independent poll to show Ken with a strong lead going into the last week before the primary.

“The only poll that matters will be on Aug. 10,” added Klein. “Between now and then, Ken will continue with his strong positive campaign.”
