FORMER COLORDO FIRST LADY FRANCES OWENS URGES COLORADO REPUBLICANS TO SUPPORT SCOTT MCINNIS FOR GOVERNOR

Underscoring that experience, vision and leadership are critical to getting Colorado back on the path to job creation and economic recovery, today former Colorado First Lady Frances Owens urged Colorado Republicans to support Scott McInnis for Governor.

"I have known Scott McInnis for many years. He has the knowledge to handle the economic challenges we currently face," Owens said. "Scott knows that during these challenging economic times Colorado's families have been forced to make tough choices every day. And he believes that it's time for government to do the same."

Owens highlighted McInnis' plan to return fiscal discipline to the state budget and reverse the jobs-loss trend caused by failed tax-and-spend Democrat policies.

"Scott McInnis has a proven conservative record of working for Colorado's families, and I'm confident that as Governor he will stand up and make the tough decisions needed to rein in government spending and restore economic opportunity for our future generations," said Owens.

"Frances Owens is a dear friend to Colorado," said McInnis. "Frances has continued to work hard on issues affecting Colorado's families and communities, and I am honored to have her support."

"I know that with Scott McInnis as our next Governor, Colorado's future is bright. He will be a strong leader for the State of Colorado," Owens said.
